On Saturday, May 16th scanner traffic indicated that there was a group of protesters gathering at the Thompson Center in Downtown Chicago in opposition of the Stay at Home order enacted by Governor Pritzker. I took these pictures at a safe distance from the inside of our car while my wife was driving. Although the original intention of the demonstration seemed to be opposition to the stay at home order, I observed signs with many other messages including support for Donald Trump and opposition to abortion. Most of the protesters that I observed were not wearing masks.
